Fallen Angel (Contains hidden watermark)
Angel and Devil

This is a very special piece with 2 signatures. As this piece meant to be displayed in 2 directions. In one direction you will see a fallen angel (devil), you will see rising angel in another direction. Whether we are an angel or devil, it depends on our perceptions. It’s a very special piece which I cried together with my son, Zen when I explained the meaning of the piece to him. I told him that we can all be an angel or devil, depending on our thoughts and actions. I went on to explained angel goes to heaven and devil goes to hell. Zen said that “Daddy you are an angel”, but I told him that “Daddy is a devil”. Zen cried“ If Daddy a devil and goes to hell, Zen will go with you too”. Upon hearing, Zen and I hugged each other and burst into tears.

about me

Vincent Lee is a self taught artist. He started sketching with pen at fifteen years old. He felt that pen sketching resembles that of our lives. If we make mistakes in life, we can only carry on and try make it better, we can't undo or erase our mistakes, we can only try make it better by continuing sketching. He uses Black typically which reflects the irony of life. Life ain't about only "Black or White", there's always the grey. He even wrote a little poem about it. However, sometime he used other colours like green, red and blue too. In the early work of Vincent, he sketched a lot of names, feelings with Alphabets(A-Z) . All of them looks really complicated, as he wanted to hide his feelings from others. Most of the people couldn't understand his sketches. He preferred that way as every sketch gave him an opportunity to express his feelings. Therefore, he kept almost every single sketch he did because every single one has a story to tell. Some of his art is influenced by music from Kenny G (Dying Young, SongBird, Sihouette) , Micheal Bolton (Time, Love and Tenderness), Chicago (You are my inspiration), Bee Gees(How deep is your love) and Glenn Frey (The one you love) too.

Vincent Photo
Hi guys!

Hi Guys, the photograph on the left was taken by my classmate, Jace 30 years ago. I decided to use the picture cos like all my artwork, there's a story behind too. The photograph was taken at the same time when I started sketching and drawing. It was also Jace's O level Cambridge Art Exams Project submission 30 years ago.

I love drawing and sketching as I can express my feelings and thoughts freely. Capture all the emotions and lock them in the art pieces. I have some little habits, there's always missing alphabets in my drawings. Can you imagine if I am sketching your name and I end up misspelling your name. hahaha😂. That's not the worst, I might not even give you the sketch of your name when I complete. Sometimes, it really gets on my friends' nerves. 😅Till date, I hardly give any sketches or drawings to anyone. As I hid a lot of my feelings and thoughts in my drawings and sketches, i decided to slow down and even stop drawing for a while after I entered a relation with my current wife, Felicia. I felt that I should express my feelings and share my thoughts with her instead of hiding them in my drawings. After I am married in 1996, I drew a lot lesser. If you have a chance to go through my full collection of my work, you will realise very few were produce after 1996. I hope you like my artwork, my stories as I continue to share them on the this website. As you know, I always keep the artworks for myself only, I have finally decided to share with all of you my work through issuance of limited NFT for some of the drawings or sketches. So that you can collect them too.
